HOW IT WORKS

Seven independent random words

The generator selects seven words uniformly from EFF’s 7,776-word long list using crypto.getRandomValues. Under that model, the word choices provide about 90.5 bits of search-space entropy.

Limits to keep in mind

The estimate assumes the words are selected independently and uniformly. It does not prevent phishing, malware, password reuse or compromise of the device. This is a general passphrase, not a wallet recovery phrase.

A PRACTICAL WORKFLOW

Use the result carefully.

01Generate a fresh seven-word passphrase locally. Use it for one account or password vault only.
02Run the utility and inspect the complete output.
03Use a unique phrase for one account or password vault. Store other unique passwords in a password manager.
